Women Leaders Fellowship
The LeadNext Women Fellowship is a selective development experience designed for the next generation of Nigerian women committed to shaping the nation’s future through impactful engagements.

Overview
This Fellowship prepares participants for meaningful engagement in their respective career paths by strengthening their civic understanding, building leadership competence, and deepening their sense of national responsibility. Grounded in the belief that inclusive leadership is essential to Nigeria’s future, the program creates a supportive, collaborative environment where women learn, reflect, and grow together. Fellows will learn to view leadership not as a position or privilege, but as a responsibility rooted in integrity, accountability, and service to the public good.
What the Program Offers
Learning sessions on public leadership, governance, and civic responsibility
Exposure to pathways for women’s participation in diverse career spaces
Peer-based learning and dialogue among emerging women leaders
Engagement with women practitioners in public service, civil society, and governance
A collaborative capstone project addressing a public or social issue of national or community relevance

Eligibility Criteria
Nigerian women aged 18–35 years
Demonstrated interest in in leadership, public service, governance, or civic engagement
Commitment to ethical leadership and national development
Ability to dedicate at least 4 hours per week for the duration of the Fellowship
